Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION “ SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT (SS) NOTICE for Market Research Purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified SMALL BUSINESS concerns capable of providing Hazardous Waste Containers as specified in the Description of Supplies for the Hazardous Waste Control Branch (HWCB) at Building 259 Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, TX 78419. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation to bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for SMALL BUSINESS. NAICS Code: 332439, Other Metal Container Manufacturing Description/Scope of Work: See the attached DRAFT Description of Supplies. It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Federal Supply Code (FSC) of 8145, Specialized Shipping and Storage Containers and NAICS Code of 332439 with a size standard of 500 employees. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall not exceed five (5) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. The technical capabilities statement shall include: A cover page containing the Company ™s Name, Address, CAGE Code, DUNS number, Years in Business, Affiliate Information, Parent Company, Joint Venture Partners, NAICS code 332439, Business Size/Socio-economic Status, Government Business Point-of-Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. Provide a statement of past and current ability to meet all Rapid Gate requirements for access to military sites/property/ installations. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted as this is not a solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made. Responses shall be submitted by 5:00 P.M. EST, 05 May, 2017. Any questions about the Draft Description of Supplies must be submitted in writing to alex.noriega@navy.mil.
