- THIS NOTICE CANCELS SOLICITATION W912PL-16-B-0002 SEDMENT REMOVAL SAN LUIS REY RIVER FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT, CITY OF OCEANSIDE, SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA IN ITS ENTIRETY AND SERVES TO INFORM INTERESTED PARTIES THE PROJECT IS NOW ADVERTISED AS W912PL-17-B-0002. Project consists of removal of approximately 210,000 BCY of sediment from the San Luis Rey riverbed and disposal of excavated material at the El Corazon disposal site. Magnitude of the Proposed Project: $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 Estimated Duration of the Contract: 100 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The proposed contract will be awarded using the sealed bidding process in accordance with FAR Part 14. Proposed award to be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms of the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the invitation. This procurement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Businesses for which the size standard is $36,500,000 annual receipts. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237990. TENTATIVE DATES FOR SOLICITATION ISSUANCE IS JULY 28, 2016, with BIDS DUE ON OR ABOUT AUGUST 30, 2016. It is anticipated the resultant contract will be awarded within 30 calendar days from the date of the receipt of bids. The Invitation for Bids/Plans and Specifications will be available only at the FedBizOpps (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. No additional media (compact disks, floppy disks, faxes or paper) will be provided. Offerors are responsible for checking the www.fbo.gov for any update(s) to this Notice or subsequent solicitation.
