- Biological Assessment for Fiscal year 2007-2009 Analytical Process for Developing Biological Assessments. Documents to return Complete Solication The contractor shall provide the necessary analysis to prepare a biological assessment (BA) for the Willamette National Forest Timber Sale Programmatic (programmatic) to meet the requirements of consultation with the regulatory agencies (National Marine Fisheries Service and Fish and Wildlife Service) under Section 7a of the Endangered Species Act and the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. The contractor shall follow the Willamette National Forest's (FS) preferred format for the BA; a modified Analytical Process. The BA will be in compliance with the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and applicable FS standards and guidelines. The BA will cover all of the project elements of the programmatic as follows: 1)Timber Felling and Yarding, 2) Road Construction/Renovation/Decommissioning and Landing work, 3) Timber Hauling, 4) Fuels Treatment, 5) Source Wood Acquisition for Restoration Projects, and 6) Rock Pit development.
