- Description
- The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Project Manager Training Devices (PM TRADE), Product Manager Live Training Systems (PM LTS) is conducting an Industry Information Briefing to provide an overview of the Instrumentable Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (IMILES) Relevancy program. IMILES Relevancy will extend the useful life of the IMILES Legacy Systems and continue to provide a realistic and current training capability. Due to the proprietary nature of the hardware and software comprising the IMILES Legacy Systems, the Government anticipates sole source contract awards to the original equipment manufacturers to perform relevancy activities on the IMILES Legacy Systems. These IMILES Legacy Systems include: the Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CVTESS); Individual Weapon System (IWS & IWS2); Tactical Vehicle System (TVS); MILES XXI, Aviation (Apache, CH47, UH 60 LUH); Home Station Instrumentation System (HITS v3 & v4); Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLM) systems; Universal Controller Devices (UCD); Micro Controller Devices (MCD); Main Gun Signature Simulator (MGSS); Direct/Indirect Fire Cue (DIFCUE); and the Improved Target Acquisition Systems (ITAS TOW). The IMILES Relevancy Industry Information Briefing is scheduled on May 16, 2017 from 0900-1100 EST. The meeting will be held at the University of Central Florida Partnership III Bldg., 3039 Technology Parkway, Room 321, in Orlando, FL 32826. To ensure adequate space is available, each contractor is limited to three representatives. Attendees shall pre-register providing the company name, attendees' names with phone number and email address, via email to the Christopher Camp at christopher.j.camp9.civ@mail.mil no later than 1600 EST on Friday, May 12, 2017. If you are a Foreign National, this must be indicated in your response. Industry will also have the opportunity to schedule a 45 minute one-on-one session with members of the Government project team. When pre-registering, please indicate your firm's desire to participate in a one-on-one session. Your firm's point of contact will be notified of the date and time for your scheduled 45 minute one-on-one discussion. The one-on-one sessions will be held in the same facility as the Industry Briefing and will take place from 1200-1700 on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 and on Wednesday, May 17 from 0900-1600. Questions relating to this matter may be submitted ahead of time to Christopher Camp at christopher.j.camp9.civ@mail.mil.
