- Description
- The US Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for one new 39' heavy duty CNC horizontal Broach/Rifling Machine (machine). Shall have the capability to push and pull broach rifling for hook and crown cutters. Also to include straight grooves, constant/progressive twist left or right hand. Machine shall be complete with all components necessary to rifle large canon tubes including a set of 155mm push rifling broaches. The preferred machine is a Varinelli model 70kN X 12,000 or equal. The solicitation will be issued on a Full and Open basis and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price. Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately 15 days after issuance of this notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the information contained in this posting or information received as a result of this posting. The contents of any future formal Request for Proposal (RFP) takes precedence over anything contained herein. Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of same.
