- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The South Carolina National Guard will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. This solicitation, W912QG-17-T-0010, is being issued as a Request for Quote. This acquisition is 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 721110 with a size standard of $32.5 million The 1050th Transportation Battalion out of South Carolina will be conducting a mission at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point in North Carolina from 28 July - 30 August 2017. Hotel rooms will be needed for the duration of the mission. The number of rooms varies per day. See room breakout in section 6.0 of the PWS. The hotel must be located within 15 miles of Southport, NC zip code 28461. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal. Technical acceptable is meeting all solicitation and performance work statement (PWS) requirements. A site visit to the hotel may be required prior to award. This solicitation is NOT for third party vendors or event planning services. Quotes must come directly from the hotel. All questions in response to this notice must be submitted by email to vanessa.j.holmes.mil@mail.mil no later than 10:00am (EST) Wednesday, May 3, 2017. The deadline for quotes is 10 May 2017 at 2:00pm EST. Please include the Solicitation number in the subject line of the email.
