Description

Provisioning Item Order (PIO) for spares in support of the MK 110 MOD 0 Gun Mount The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-15-G-5333, with BAE Land & Armaments L.P., Minneapolis, MN, to fulfill a Provisioning Item Order for spares in support of the MK 110 MOD 0 Gun Mount These efforts include, but will not be limited to, procuring and manufacturing spare and component parts utilized in life cycle support of the Gun Mount. BAE is the designer and original equipment manufacturer of the MK 110 MOD 0 Gun Mount and is the only source that possesses the necessary technical expertise to provide the items required in a timely manner. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact BAE directly. The proposed Delivery Order is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement no later than fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed Delivery Order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
