- Solicitation for NSN: 1560-01-656-0912, 0068408002. DELIVERY SCHEDULE 208 DAYS AFAA FOR PRODUCTION QUANTITY AND 280 DAYS ARO FOR FIRST ARTICLE TESTING. This NSN is a non-commercial item that contains requirements for higher level quality and configuration control. Government First Article Testing (Sample Size = 1 each) applies. This NSN has the following approved sources: The Boeing Company (CAGE 82918) in accordance with part number 520-13669-9, Forrest Machining Inc (CAGE 0FRC8) in accordance with part number 520-13669-9, and Spirit Aerosystems Inc (CAGE 4ATM5) in accordance with part number 520-13669-9. This is a stock buy with no surge requirements. The FOB point is Origin; Inspection and Acceptance is at Origin. This is a request for proposal for an Definite Quantity Contract. The estimated quantity is 6 each. Solicited as Unrestricted on an Other than Full and Open procedures basis. Specifications, Plans, or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Solicitations between $25,000 and over will be made in writing. Request for a written proposal, please submit offers to fax # (804) 279-4165. OFFERORS MUST COMPLETE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select Search RFPs. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
