- The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to notify that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma plans to solicit offers for construction services regarding the renovation of an existing 55 ¿ x 96 ¿ Vehicle Barn under Solicitation No. F17PS00628. The Government intends to award a single contract with a completion date of 45 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The work of this contract consists of removal and replacement of sliding bar doors, roof gutters and clips, frame, sheath and roof panels of 5,280 square feet wood frame building. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors with a size standard of $15 million. The completion date will be 45 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The contract type is a firm-fixed price contract and will be awarded based on lowest-price, technically acceptable. Solicitation No. F17PS00628 will be issued on or about May 12, 2017. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notice and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Federal Business Opportunities at www.fbo.gov and FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned sites regularly for any updates/amendments to this requirement. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and must complete online Representations and Certifications and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov.
