- Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ Office has a requirement for a 345-kV, 60 Hz, outdoor, three-phase series capacitors bank with metal oxide varistors (MOV) protective equipment and associated spare parts and tools. This procurement shall also include erection engineering services by the manufacturer for oversight of installation of the equipment by others as well as commissioning by the manufacturer. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ ). The assigned NAICS is 335311 with a size standard of 750 employees. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about May 17, 2017.
