Description

SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, New York Harbor Healthcare System (Brooklyn Campus), intends to award, on a sole-source basis, a fixed price purchase order to Phillips Healthcare, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell, WA, under the Authority of FAR 16.505-2(i)(B). Toshiba will provide Annual Service and Maintenance Contract for the various Philips Medical Systems including C-arms, CT scanner, the Pinnacle Treatment planning software and three Ultrasound machines with TEE probe located at the NYHHS-Brooklyn campus. Contract is to be effective for a full year, beginning from the date of obligation. (Please see draft statement of work contained herein for a more complete description of required services.) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses to this notice are due by Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 2:00PM Eastern Local Time by email to Marshand.boone@va.gov.
