Description
OCRACOKE BOAT RAMPS The National Park Service is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of the public use boat ramps and the Day Use area of Ocracoke, North Carolina. The concrete boat ramps require a steeper grade to be optimal for todays boats and trailers. This proposed acquisition will be 100% SDVOSB set-aside procurement, the NAICS code is 237310 and the size standard is $36.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation will result in a contract with a base period of 365 days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD. Overview This project is to be completed in two pieces: Phase 1 consists of designing an acceptable means and method to remove the existing concrete boat ramp while retaining the existing bulkhead and finger piers. Design will include obtaining a 404 permit for work in the water. Phase 2 consists of the demolition and construction portion of the project after the design has been approved.
