- Volume1 - Bidding & Contracting Requirements Please note: Only Volume I was uploaded with the cover letter. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requests bids for the furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, tools, project management, supervision, engineering, quality control, testing, transportation, safety, appurtenances and other items necessary for the work contained in the IFB. This Multi-step sealed bidding is a two-phase process. Phase I – Qualifications due May 17, 2017, 2PM est. (bidders submit their qualifications, certifications and work experience). Phase II – Pricing due June 28, 2017, 2pm est. Bidders who are determined to be qualified/acceptable during the 1 st phase are invited to submit bid pricing. The scope of work includes: Two locations listed below with an option - all listed below. Forest Glen Metro Station 9730 Georgia Avenue Forest Glen, MD 20910 Removal of two existing UST systems (1,000- and 500-gallon USTs) and one existing AST system (100-gallon) diesel fuel day tank. Furnish and install: 1 new 2,500-gallon UST system 1 new….100-gallon day tank system and other associated equipment upgrades Shady Grove Rail Yard 15903 Somerville Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20855 Complete a mid-life upgrade of one (1) 2,500-gallon heating oil UST system at the PLNT Building, in accordance with Para.3.04 of Volume 3 Technical provisions. OPTION: Royal Street Bus Division 600 North Royal Street Alexandria, VA 22314 Remove up to five former UST systems Including site preparation, demolition, and restoration. Estimated Cost Range: $1 Million - $5 Million (refer to price Schedule) Period of Performance: All work must be completed within 210 calendar days after the issuance of Notice-to-Proceed.
