Description

This amendment is to correct the close date of the solicitation that was posted in error, address questions, revise the statement of work, and revise the delivery date. All QUESTIONS AND QUOTES shall be submitted through the Department of Veterans Affairs - Electronic Management System (eCMS) Vendor Portal website in order to be considered for award. https://www.vendorportal.ecms.va.gov. VENDOR GUIDE IS ATTACHED TO THIS RFQ FOR YOUR INSTRUCTION. All questions must be received by no later than May 5, 2017 at 12:00PM E.S.T. to give reasonable time to respond to questions prior to close of the solicitation. No questions will be accepted after May 5, 2017 at 12:00pm E.S.T. The solicitation closes on May 11, 2017 at 2:00PM EST. The delivery date has changed from May 31, 2017 to June 16, 2017. Question 1: Is it possible to ship one truckload 2,500 to 3,000 niches late May with a follow up load in mid-June? Answer 1: Yes, this is acceptable. However, the final delivery date is revised to June 16, 2017. Delivery shall be delivered no later than June 16, 2017 to the following addresses: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 20953 West Hoff Road Elwood, IL 60421 Question 2: We have a material with ASTM specifications that meet requirements outlined in the solicitation, is this acceptable? Answer 2: Please submit the sample and provide the necessary specifications per the solicitation The Statement Of Work has been revised to incorporate changes specific to Section 3.7. The grit finish has changed from 200 grit to 80 grit. Please see the revised Statement of Work: Attachment B 3.7 Finish: The face and sides of each niche cover shall be uniformly machine honed with an 200 grit abrasive so as to display a smooth satin surface, free of scratches, saw marks, rust spots and skips.
