- Amendment - Questions and Answers for VA786-17-Q-0277 A00001 Question 1: Number of buckets and type? Answer: BUCKET-GP, 1.4 CYD 1.45 CYD (1.1 CUM) SAE capacity General Purpose. Drilled to accept bolt-on teeth or cutting edge (not included). This is the loader bucket. It is attached to the loader arm to load vehicles. BUCKET-HD, 36", 10.3 CFT INCLUDES: 6 tooth tips NOT INSTALLED This is the digging bucket and attaches to the e-stick. Question 2: Stick, Extendable to 14 If the quoted Loader Backhoe has a dig depth of 14 without an extendable stick, will that be excepted? Or are you looking for a maximum dig depth of 14 or are you looking for an extendable dipperstick, or both, even if the extendable dipperstick will exceed the 14 depth you are requiring? Answer: The backhoe will reach a depth of 14 feet without the extendable stick, however, you have no way to dig correct angles. The extendable stick seems like it is overkill, but in order to dig clean back walls and front walls, you need to set up at different distances from the grave while still maintaining the correct angles. So we need the extendable stick. Question 3: Coupler, PG, Manual, Dual Lock Is this coupler for the backhoe end (Dipperstick) of the machine? Answer: Yes, this coupler is at the end of the stick. It allows us to quickly change between our toothed bucket and smooth bucket and our hydraulic hammer attachment. Question 4: Lines, combined Aux, E-Stick Can you please clarify what you are requesting? Answer: This is to have the auxiliary hydraulic lines run down the e-stick( extendable stick), so we can operate the hydraulic hammer attachment for the backhoe. Question 5: Coupling, QD, threaded with caps Can you please clarify what you are requesting? Answer: These are the hydraulic quick disconnect fittings that are at the end of the auxiliary hydraulic hoses. They are ports that you use to attach hydraulic attachments such as hammer, plate tampers.
