- Description
- Background The system to be acquired is a portable current profiling system for measuring river discharge and currents at multiple depths (cells) as well as measuring currents and conducting bathymetry surveys in a shallow water estuary environment. The system shall consist of three major components: 1.An acoustic Doppler Current Profiler measurement system (ADCP) 2.An GPS positioning system which can be fully integrated with the ADCP (component 1) and 3.A floating raft/platform for use with components 1 and 2 The specific technical requirements for each component are listed in the attached. Note: this effort was previously synopsized as a small business set-aside under solicitation ID N6227117Q1086. No quotes from small business were received. This solicitation allows for full and open competition.
