- This project specifies the following work: Replace existing kitchens within Buildings # 276 and # 283, located on the first, second and third floor. A total of 24 kitchens will be renewed. Building # 276 - 12 each: - 6 each "standard" - 6 each "arranged in a mirrored layout" Building # 283 - 12 each: - 6 each "standard" - 6 each "arranged in a mirrored layout" Perform the following work on the first floor, on the second floor and on the third floor: 1. Provide a dust-tight security partition with job-site door leaf of wood and separate cylinder in each apartment, to allow for separation of the living room and the working area. It must be guaranteed that the apartments remain habitable for the residents during the entire construction period. 2. Dismount the existing kitchens including sinks and faucets. Furthermore, clear and dismount the refrigerator, the dish washer and the freestanding kitchen range. Store them intermediately and reinstall them as well as reconnect them at a later date. 3. Dismantle the existing wall tiles. 4. Deliver and install new kitchen furniture with recess back panels and counter tops. 5. Connect the existing electrical kitchen appliances. 6. Replace ceiling light fixtures within the respective buildings, apartments and kitchens. Note: The dismantling of the existing PVC floor covers including base boards as well as the installation of the new PVC floor covers will be performed by means of a separate contract. Coordination of the respective sections via COR is required. During the entire construction period the apartments are still being used by residents resulting in obstructions for the contractor. Take all necessary precautions to guarantee construction site safety.
