- This acquisition is proceeding as a Competitive SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, Invitation for Bids (IFB). This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z1KF, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $27,500,000. Estimated Cost Range is between $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 JOB DESCRIPTION: The work consists of maintenance dredging the Richmond Inner Harbor Channel of approximately 67,000 cubic yards of dredged material in the Base contract to provide a contract depth of -38 feet plus 1 foot of allowable paid over-depth in Reach 1. Alternative 1 consists of approximately 258,000 cubic yards of dredged material to provide a contract depth of -38 feet plus 1 foot of allowable paid over depth in Reaches 2 thru 10. Alternative 2 consists of approximately 77,000 cubic yards of dredged material to provide a contract depth of -37.5 feet plus 1 foot of allowable paid over-depth in Reaches 2 thru 10. Dredged material excavated from Reach 1 will be disposed at a Contractor-furnished beneficial use upland site, and dredged material excavated from Reaches 2 thru 10 will be disposed at the Government-furnished site SF-DODS for Option 1, and at a Contractor-furnished beneficial use upland disposal site for Option 2. All dredging material transportation and material placement shall be in accordance with the project plans, specifications, permits, regulatory guidance and applicable contract clauses. The solicitation will be available on/about 19 May 2017, for Viewing/downloading documents. All BIDS will be due on/about 19 June 2017/10:00 a.m. PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION: Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the IFB is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in SAM System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the IFB documents. To register, click on the Register Now button in the Vendors Block and follow the instructions.
