Description
This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or firm requirement. The Army Contracting Command- Rock Island (ACC-RI) is utilizing a Sources Sought for Market Research to determine if other vendors have the capability to fulfill the requirement. This is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement for Culver Pipe in accordance with the specifications below. The U.S. Government will use the responses received for information / planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of market research. 1. Provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to deliver 30 pieces of 24" x 20' Corrugated Dual Wall Culvert Pipe and 20 pieces of 36" x 20' Corrugated Dual Wall Culvert Pipe for 596th Trans BDE, Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point to maintain and provide proper safety to the entire Rail System for movement of Ammunitions for Terminals Mission. 2. REFERENCES: 2.1 Material shall meet (as a minimum) the following requirement as stated in the latest issue of the below listed documents. Pipes should not require a separate coupling to join two individual pipes together. a. Specifications as documented within the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Official's Requirements. 3. DETAILS OF PROJECT 3.1 The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to deliver specified material to Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point location as determined by Rail Maintenance Personnel. 4. The contractor shall provide all necessary paper work at time of delivery. 4.1 Delivery: ATTN: Michael Fuller Environment and Land Management Division MILITARY OCEAN TERMINAL 6280 SUNNY POINT ROAD, SE SOUTHPORT NC 28461 Phone: 910-457-8429 Email: Michael.b.fuller.civ@mail.mil 5. PROJECT DURATION 5.1 The contractor shall be allowed fourteen (14) calendar days to fully complete the delivery upon contracting issuing the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Material delivery days are to be within the hours of 7:30 AM thru 2:00PM, Monday thru Friday. 6. SECURITY, WASTE DISPOSAL AND CLEANUP 6.1 Upon material arriving, the security personnel will contact DPW to provide personnel to escort material to designated storage area and to procure copy of delivery documentation. All information received in response to the RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. ACC-RI will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. If you believe your company has the capabilities to provide the above specifications, please submit the following information: 1.
