- Pursuant to 13.106-1(b), the National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) for the 2017 BIO International Convention from June 19, 2017 through June 22, 2017 in San Diego, CA. BIO is the only source that provides an annual convention that attracts over 15,000 biotechleaders from 66 counteries and covers the wide spectrum of life science innovations and application areas including drug discovery, bio manufacturing, genomics, biofuels, nanotechnology, cell theraphy, and more. The anticipated period of performance is through June 22, 2017. As a sponsor, NSF can reach out to a large number of participants. In addition to this order, the funding will cover the cost of exhbit space, funishings, electricity, internet usuage, signage, and supplies.
