- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Knox intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America, Apooka, Florida, for the JCLC Valor event for 300 cadets and 50 cadre, 24 - 27 May 2017. The vendor will provide lodging, meals, and facilities for the event in Paisley, Florida. Market research has demonstrated that Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America is the only entity able to meet all lodging, meals, and facility requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 5 MAY BY 3:00 PM EST at MICC - Fort Knox, to Jennifer King, Jennifer.l.king76.civ@mail.mil.
