- United States Department of State Foreign Service Institute Management Tradecraft Training Division Pre-Solicitation Notice for Oversight Training Support Services SOLICITATION NUMBER: SFSIAQ17Q4005 Purpose: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable t he U.S. Department of State (DOS), Oversight Training support services acquisition. Authority: DOS Office of Acquisitions is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices. Description: FSI currently has a requirement for training on the roles of the Contracting Officer’s Representatives and Agreements Officer’s Representative. Training will include development and training of courses for the corresponding DOS unique procurement processes. Place of Performance: The training location will be primarily FSI, George Schultz Center at 4000 Arlington Blvd, the Rosslyn offices in Arlington, VA and Diplomatic Security Training Center located both at Dunn Loring, VA and Fort Pickett, VA. The ability for the contractor to travel to any U.S. Embassy, Consulate foreign or domestic is required. Sole Source/Competitive Acquisition: This will be a competitive acquisition. Contract Type: Blanket Purchase Agreement Period of Performance: This acquisition contains a five (5) year base period. Government-Furnished Property/Equipment: Equipment will be provided by the Government: None. Release Date of the Solicitation: It is anticipated for Solicitation Number SFSIAQ17Q4005 to be released during the second quarter of calendar year 2017. Should complications arise resulting in a delay in the release of the solicitation the Contracting Officer will provide an update through FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
