- The Service Area Office (SAO) - East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Government Scientific Source, Inc., 12351 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA, 20191 to purchase an Essen Bioscience, Inc., IncuCyte Zoom HD/CLR System for research support for the Durham VAMC. This system enables observation and quantification of cell behavior over time by automatically gathering and analyzing images around the clock to generate decision making data in an all in-one format that is seamless from image acquisition to image analysis and to generation of statistically relevant data within one work-flow to maintain consistency and continuity of research in progress. Any responsible sources who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment must notify this Contracting Officer at Millicent.Covert@va.gov NLT Thursday, May 11, 2017, Noon/12:00 PM EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
