Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: PATIENT SHUTTLE SERVICES THIS ACQUISITION IS FULL AND OPEN The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 has a requirement to Provide Maintenance Services for CT Scanners at the EKHCS (Topeka and Leavenworth VA Hospitals) located in Topeka and Leavenworth, KS. The contractor will provide full maintenance and shared maintenance as follows: Base year (full maintenance coverage for System 1). Option Year 1 (full maintenance coverage for both System 1 and System 2). Option Year 2 (shared maintenance coverage for both System 1 and System 2 with training options). Option Year 3 (shared maintenance coverage for both System 1 and System 2). Option Year 4 (shared maintenance coverage for both System 1 and System 2 with training options). Full maintenance includes 24/7 overnight glassware coverage, preventative and corrective maintenance, all replacement software updates and upgrades, labor, travel expenses, tools, test equipment and other incidentals necessary to maintain or restore the listed equipment to operating specifications which meet or exceed the manufacturers specifications. Any and all parts used must be new or factory rebuilt for that model and type of device. If any action requires replacement of hard drive (or other storage media), the contractor shall not remove the hard drive (storage media) from the VA premises and, must turn over said device to Biomedical Engineering. Shared maintenance includes 24/7 overnight glassware coverage, access to software updates and upgrades (to be applied in house), discounted parts, labor, and travel and other incidentals necessary to maintain or restore the listed equipment to operating specifications. No preventative maintenance will be included in this option, and in house personnel will always attempt repair first. Training options will include all costs to train two (2) personnel including tuition, travel to and from the airport and hotel/attendee home, baggage, per diem/meals, rental car, lodging, etc. The attendee or employer will not be responsible for any costs upon redemption of training Offeror must have a signed Business Associate Agreement in place at time of award with the Veterans Administration. Period of Performance: The Government anticipates a base and four option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation documents will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or about May 4, 2017, with quotes due approximately 15 days later. Dissemination of the solicitation is limited to electronic medium. All interested Offerors (primes & subcontractors) should register at www.fbo.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updates or amendments. An Offeror's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Offerors responsibility to register at the www.fob.gov website. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the amendment will NOT be individually mailed. By registering to "Watch This Opportunity", you will be notified by e-mail of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendment(s) will be provided.
