- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals to include the following: replace and install an updated, reliable CAT 6 cable networking infrastructure that integrates the CVNP EEC with data and telephone connectivity. Upgrade the inside data and telecommunications infrastructure (voice and data) at the Environmental Education Center (EEC) campus and purchase/provide an integrated telephone system, IP enabled which provides telecommunications services, analog, digital and VoIP, to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Replace directly buried fiber with multi-mode fiber in conduits throughout the campus. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS00996 PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available late-May and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and the FedConnect website https://www.fedconnect.net/. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by mid-July. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Cuyahoga County, Ohio will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238210, and the size standard is $15 million. This project is set aside 100% for Women Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
