- Description
- The United States, Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Southern Region, Region 8 intends to award on a sole source basis, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1 (b)(1). A sole source contract will be awarded to Mr. Lawrence W. Hayden, 5627 Cypress Creek Drive, Grant, FL 32949, for Ecological Zone Mapping Services for the Croatan and Nantahala-Pisgah National Forests (North Carolina). The requirement period of performance will be June 5, 2017 to May 31, 2019. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541620 - Environmental Consulting Services. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement on a full and open competition basis, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A follow-on requirement will be posted to this site in the future.
