From:Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) Detachment Naples To:Interested Parties Subj:Request for information to provide event planning services to support the Commander Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia (CNREURAFSWA) Chaplain. 1. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This sources sought request for information (RFI) is for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. 2. The CNREURAFSWA Chaplain is seeking information on sources capable of providing event planning services to support the Chaplain Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) program in multiple European locations. This is part of a strategic sourcing initiative. a. The following basic lodging requirements and event length have been identified dependent upon the type of event being held. - Marriage Enrichment Retreat (MER) - Lodging for 32 guests; 15 double rooms with a private bath and two single rooms with a private bath. 3 days. - Family Enrichment Retreat (FER) “ Lodging for 44 guests. 15 double rooms capable of sleeping three to six guests with private bath and four single rooms with a private bath. Lodging must be capable of hosting and outdoor training event on site in an area no less than 90 x 45 meters in size. 3 days. - Personal Resiliency Retreat (PER) “ Lodging for 32 guests. 15 double rooms with a private bath and two single rooms with a private bath. 3 days. - Teen Resiliency Retreat (TRR) “ Lodging for 104 guests. 20 double rooms with a private bath and two roll-away-beds, 10 double rooms with a private bath and four single rooms with a private bath. 3 days. - The ASIST Training for Trainers (T4T) - Lodging for 21 guests. 21 single rooms with private bath. 5 days. All lodging locations require a conference room with multimedia capability that is capable of seating 40 guests in groups of 5 with suitable tables for all events with the exception of the TRR which requires seating for 104 guests with 21 tables. Conference rooms should have sufficient space for the free movement and mingling of guests with the seating in place. Conference rooms for the T4T event must capable of being partitioned into 4 separate areas to facilitate group breakout sessions. b. The following locations have been identified as sites where the CREDO events are to be held to include the type of event/s to be held in each location. - Naples or Gatea, Italy (MER, FER, PRR, ASIST) - Catania, Italy (MER, FER, PRR) - Rota, Spain (MER, FER, PRR) - Souda Bay, Greece (PRR) - Craiova, Romania (PRR) - Slupsk, Poland (PRR) - Rottach-Egern, Germany (MER, FER, TRR) c. The following basic requirements for catering have been identified. - Provide breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Provide refreshments and snacks throughout the event. 3. This Request for Information seeks preliminary information in the form of capability statements, from capable and reliable sources who may be interested in submitting a proposal.. The cover page of the response shall include the company name, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, address, point of contact including phone number and email address. Proprietary information is not being solicited; however, if it is submitted, it should be appropriately marked. Feedback on procedures, processes, capabilities, experience and cost/schedule drivers that may impact this procurement are highly encouraged and are welcome. 4. Direct responses and/or questions in writing to LT Christopher Battagello at christopher.battage@eu.navy.mil. Responses are requested no later than 2:00 P.M. Central European Time (CET) on 18 May 2017.
