- Page 1 of 1 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 537-17-112: Dishwasher Site Prep at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 S Damen Ave, Chicago IL 60612. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs). Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, and qualified supervision to remove existing Dish Machine, and prepare site for installation of new Dish Machine in the Kitchen Area of Building 1 in accordance with all Drawings, PG-18 VA Specifications, local and state codes at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Work is to be completed within 98 days after Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about May 15th, 2017, with the bid opening on/or about June 15th, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database.
