Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential small business sources qualified and able to compete for a contract to perform portable toilets and their accompanying service requirements at facility located near Bridgeport, CA. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information / sources sought notice. The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform all operations required to furnish and service portable toilets the Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, CA. Units shall be placed, picked-up upon request from authorized personnel and/or sanitized on scheduled service days. Service shall include the complete removal of all waste, cleaning of the inside of the waste water tank, cleaning and applying a commercial grade cleaner to the toilet seats, doors, walls, floors and other exposed surfaces. The contractor shall also replenish toilet paper, hand towels, and hand sanitizer in each unit. Performance requires the contractor to deliver, relocate, and maintain chemical toilets in rough terrain or unpaved areas. Therefore, delivery and servicing of equipment at these areas may require the contractor to use heavy duty four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles. The contractor is responsible for repairing/towing any vehicles that become inoperable during performance. The Government will not provide tow vehicles or mechanics. Upon placement of toilets, the contractor shall annotate on the service sticker the date on which the toilet was placed. In addition, to withstand the heavy winds prevalent at locations designated by the Government, the contractor shall adequately secure each chemical toilet to the ground to keep the equipment from tipping in the wind. The NAICS code for this requirement is 562991 (Septic Tank and Related Services). The Small Business Size Standard is $7,500,000. The Government requests interested parties submit a brief statement of current capability to perform the services stated in the draft Performance Work Statement and a letter of interest. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size [i.e.; Small, SBA Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Women Owned, and/or Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO)]; (2) Is your company registered in System for Award Management? If yes, what is your CAGE code? (3) a list of your most current and relevant DoD and/or commercial contracts (within the past 3 years) to include a brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; (4) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service? Please limit your submissions to five (5) pages. This announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. In the event a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) number and the announcement will be published on the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov. Potential interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package as well as downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any.
