Description

The U.S. Government currently occupies approximately 10,000 net usable square feet of medical office and related space in a building under lease in Morehead, Kentucky, that will expire November 30, 2017. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive Agency downtime. The following services are required: all utilities, landscaping, trash removal, cleaning, maintenance, building management, alarm service, and building repairs. The leased space shall be in compliance with VA Physical Security Design Manual for VA Life-Safety Protected Facilities, January 2015 and VA Office of Information & Technology Design Guide, February 2011. Design, construction and alteration of leased space shall comply with local codes and ordinances together with the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards, (ABA-AS), and VA Barrier Free Design Guide. A minimum of fifty-eight, (58), dedicated parking spaces are required.
