- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for the MUSE Cardiology System for the Salisbury VAMC in NC. Justification for this sole source procurement under authority of IAW FAR 6.302-5(2) (i) allows for the procurement of the items through other thank full and open completion when a statue expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made through another agency or from a specified source or agency's need is for a brand name commercial item for authorized resale. The award is to be made to SDVOSB TrillaMed LLC 30100 Telegraph Road Suite 366 Bingham Farms MI 48025, authorized distributor of this product. The estimated contract award is May 7, 2017. NAICS Code 334510/1250 SALIENT CHARACATERISTICS Turnkey GE Healthcare Muse v.9 upgrade Upgrades to the MUSE servers and software to take it from Version 8 to Version 9 with New operating systems being installed on new physical servers, updated licenses for newer software versions, and updated software for the various modules such as Stress +Holter; Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 Operating System etc. Installation and other work required to perform the upgrade. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; No Solicitation package is available, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
