- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Palmer Johnson Power Systems LLC citing FAR Part 6 Subpart 6.302-1. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are no other firms in the area that can satisfy this requirement. The work to be done under this contract consists of Repair/Rebuild of Palmer Johnson's Twin Disk Hydraulic Torque Converter for the Dredge Hurley to meet the Government's requirement. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by May 11, 2017 @ 10:00 AM CST.
