- The USGS, Western Ecological Research Center (WERC) has a requirement for Qty (4) Herman Miller canvas workstations, including the design, physical move and reconfiguration of existing office space. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and FAR 12 to Miles Treaster & Associates (MTA) of Sacramento. MTA was the original contractor that ordered and installed the furniture for both the ¿Q Systems ¿ and ¿Canvas ¿ furniture purchases. Product will need to be purchased from the Herman Miller line in order to match the existing furniture. This will require using MTA as they are the contracted representative of Herman Miller in the Sacramento area. MTA is the only government dealer of Herman Miller furniture in Sacramento. Other dealers do not service Sacramento as MTA has a contract for this area. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these supplies shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contract Specialist no later than the closing date of this announcement. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is NOT an RFQ. This does represent the Government's only written notice of this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency.
