- The Western Area Power Administration, Upper Great Plains Region intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis to Terex Utilities in Watertown, SD the repair of a boom, seals, rotation motor, and various welding of cracks on a Terex Crane/Boom under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. See attached sole source justification for details. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government ™s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Questions concerning this notice may be directed to Michael L.
