Description

FAR and SSA Agency Clauses and Provisions Additional Information Sheet Solicitation SSA-RFQ-17-1255 Renewal of maintenance and support for Qoppa jPDFProcess Site Licenses on purchase order SS00-16-50098. The Social Security Administration (SSA) issues this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the renewal of annual maintenance and support on Qoppa jPDFProcess Site Licenses. To the best of the Government's knowledge, Qoppa Software is the only product available that meets their requirements. This software is proprietary. Only Qoppa Software has access to the source code necessary to provide the required software maintenance. There are multiple authorized resellers for maintenance and support for Qoppa jPDFProcess Site Licenses. The basis of justification for restricting competition is within the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.104(b) - Promoting Competition. Written responses to this solicitation shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
