- The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses stating their capability received before 12PM on Monday May 8 2017 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Varidesk, LLC is the only supplier that can satisfy the agencies requirements. Varidesk standing desk provides the required height adjustability, a flat surface in the seated and standing position, and the absence of a protruding keyboard tray. In addition, the sit-stand workstation is designed to fit in the corner of the cubicle, while its dual monitor arm provides the required adjustability in height, pivot, and tilt. Moreover, Varidesk workstation requires no assembly and integrates with the exiting office furniture, preventing complete furniture replacement, promoting cost efficiency and effectiveness.
