- Description
- The Department of the Navy has a requirement to obtain maintenance for the Basis Software, Inc., Surphaser Laser Scanner (S/N: HS_631). Responses for solicitation RFQ N0001517RC11504 are sought only from contractors who are authorized resellers or distributors for the Surphaser 25HSX laser scanner (S/N: HS_631) to provide maintenance support. Maintenance shall cover: annual calibration and cleaning of scanner, upgrade in software/firmware as released, technical support, repair or replacement of failed equipment, loaner unit while equipment is being repaired, immediate shipment of loaner upon notice of failure depending on the mission urgency. Software upgrades included with maintenance are for corresponding SurphExpress Software v2.3 and higher as released by Basis Software, Inc. The government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed priced contract. The period of performance is a base year, reinstatement fees for the period 14 November 2016 through 13 May 2017; plus three (3) one-year options. The government will evaluate the options at contract award by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 811212. Responses are due not later than 10 May 2017, at 12:00 Noon; EST and shall be submitted via email to nalbritton@nmic.army.mil. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) formally known as Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database to receive a contract award.
