Description
Indoor Small Arms Range of 14 firing positions. Facilities will be designed as Modular construction in accordance with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)1-200-01, General Building Requirements. The facility should be compatible with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design standards. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. This project will comply with DoD force protection requirements per UFCs. Range complete with projectile containment bullet traps, overhead and sound reflection reduction. Solicitation sets forth the requirements for the fabrication and placement of a fourteen (14) lane Modular Range to equal a 25 meter shooting distance not to exceed 120' in length when connected to each other capable of supporting live fire with weapons up to (and including) 7.62 mm munitions (as well as shotguns) for qualification training/testing. The system shall include: 1. The Modular Range shall be fielded to the Ohio Air National Guard (OHANG) site. 2. The Modular Range shall be a commercial product produced by a company that has delivered more than 3 variations of Modular Range products to include multiple CONUS and OCONUS commercial, Federal DHS, and U.S. DoD sites. 3. One OPTION for Simulator System 4. Brand Name requirement For Mass Notification and Fire Supression. Location is: 180th FW, 2660 South Eber Rd, Swanton Ohio 43558 Anticipated Solicitation issue is 15 May 2017 and Close 29 June 2017 with performance No More than 270 Days. Anticipated Site Visit on 30 May 2017 All proposals shall be submitted to: usaf.oh.180-fw.list.contracting@mail.mil This will be a Competitive 8a Set-aside IAW solicitation. Construction Magnitude for this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000
