- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about May 10, 2017. Description: Furnishing labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and materials, to renovate an existing office space (32' x77') in the USFS Almanor District Office building. The work consists of removing: carpeting and plywood underlayment, ceiling light fixtures, electrical switches & outlets, electrical wiring & boxes, door frames & doors, partition walls, miscellaneous items attached to walls and ceilings, plywood paneling from partition walls, windows, and some exterior siding; repairing: squeaky subfloors and soft spots; installing: electrical wiring & boxes, door frames & doors, sheetrock on walls & ceilings, taping & texturing sheetrock, wood trim, plywood underlayment, electrical outlets, data ports, & switches, LED light fixtures, windows, shear panels on exterior walls, carpet and baseboard; rough framing door openings and adding wall studs and blocking as needed in walls; priming & painting walls & ceilings; and doing daily clean up. Location: USFS Almanor Ranger Station, 900 E. Hwy 36, Chester, California. The actual area to be renovated is located in the District Office in a section called the Timber Wing. Price Range: $25,000 - $100,000 Contract Time: Tentative Completion Date is 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Estimated Start Date: June 15, 2017. Set-Aside: THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED AS SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Bonds: Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to Submission of Quote. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
