- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a need for new exciter unit at the Green Springs Power Plant, downstream of the Emigrant Dam, approximately 12 miles southeast of Ashland, Oregon. The principal components of work consist of: A.BASE SCHEDULE Perform inspection of crane; Replace operator control station equipment, boom and hoist magnetic controls and resistor banks, and anti-two-block system; Replace swinger drive motor, electo-hydraulic brake system, magnetic controls, and resistor bank with inverter-duty motor, motor brake, and variable frequency drive (VFD) controls; Remove and dispose screened guard fence;.Provide load indicating device and display, 480 Volt distribution panel, emergency shutdown pushbutton, and conductors and conduits as required, and Perform load testing and conduct training for crane upgrades. B.OPTIONAL SCHEDULE Refurbish hoist and boom motors and Remove crane building roof to remove motors for refurbishment. Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. The anticipated period of performance for is 08/01/17 to 08/31/18 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 237990. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $36.5M. The order of magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. This will be a negotiated procurement under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15. Proposals will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small business concerns. The Government will evaluate proposals based on evaluation factors listed in the solicitation. An electronic copy of the solicitation (R17PS00068) will be available on or about June 19, 2017. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation.
