- RFP W912EE-17-R-0008 MOWING, TRIMMING, LANDSCAPING, LITTER PICKUP, CLEANING, AND JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR FACILITIES ON THE J. BENNETT JOHNSTON WATERWAY The acquisition is for a service based, firm-fixed price contract that will include a base year and four (4) option years. The Contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, fuel, transportation, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to furnish all services for litter pickup, cleaning, mowing-trimming, janitorial, and landscaping services for facilities on the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway and Recreation areas along the Red River within the State of Louisiana for the U.S. Army Engineers District, Vicksburg District. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See the attached RFP for solicitation details. Solicitation No. W912EE-17-R-0008 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the intent to award one firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be competed as Complete Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210 for Facilities Support Services and the size standard is $38.5 million. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The acquisition is for a service based, firm-fixed price contract that will include a base year and four (4) option years. The Contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, fuel, transportation, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to furnish all services for litter pickup, cleaning, mowing-trimming, janitorial, and landscaping services for facilities on the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway and Recreation areas along the Red River within the State of Louisiana. Service shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the specifications. Solicitation Requirements: Reference the attachment posted with this solicitation under additional documentation at the bottom of this announcement: RFP W912EE-17-R-0008 The government intends to make a single award for one lump sum. Offers for less than the required items will not be accepted. The Government intends to award without discussions while reserving the right to hold discussions if determined advantageous to the Government. Offerors are encouraged to provide their best proposed pricing in their initial offer.
