- CONSTRUCTION OF ONE NEW HOME This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice as required by FAR 5.203(a) and FAR 36.213-2. The Solicitation with all attachments will be posted and available after May 23, 2017, with a Bid due date of June 23, 2017. (1) Description - Contractor to provide all labor, materials and incidentals for the construction of a new three (3) bedroom house. (2) Project Location - The project location is 147 West 13th Street, Horton, KS; Brown County. From the west side of Horton, KS, the home site is at the corner of West 8th and 4th Avenue West. The Site location is the empty corner lot. (3) Dates - Bid Opening is set for June 23, 2017 at 3:00pm. The Government anticipates the award to be made by July 1, 2017, with 90 days to complete all work after Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. (4)Plans and Specifications will be available, at no cost, through fedconnect.net once the Solicitation is posted. (5) Solicitation documents will not be available to request, offer's will be required to print off the documents from fedconnect.net. (6) This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. (7) There is no charge for solicitation documents. (8) This Solicitation is being publicized through the Government-wide point of entry in accordance with FAR Part 5.204. (9) Magnitude of the Project is between $100,000 - $250,000.
