- Description
- The 20 th Contracting Squadron, 321 Cullen St., Shaw AFB, South Carolina, 29152, intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price, sole source Purchase Order to BAE Systems Information Solutions, Inc. The purpose of the order is to obtain Nine (9) SOCET GXP Air Force TAWS Targeting Bundle Upgrade Entitlement(UE), training, software upgrades, email and technical phone support. This purchase is for a commercial item and will be made using FAR 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR 13. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR6.302. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 12 May 2017, 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
