- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Project No. 556-17-013: Replace Roads and Curbs at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSBs). The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation., and qualified supervision to replace the roads and curbs. All services related to the Statement of Work (SOW) and Specifications shall meet local, state, federal, DoD/DoN, VA, ADA, NFPA, life safety codes and directives. The work is to be completed within 180 calendar days of receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Under Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006 and pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database. The solicitation will be issued on/about May 1, 2017 with the bid opening on/about June 6, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOps which may be issued to this solicitation.. The project magnitude range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310; size standard $36.5 million applies.
