- Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Skydive Orange Inc, 11339 Bloomsbury Rd, Orange, VA 22960-4442 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.' The Airborne Mobile Training Team (AMTT) requires a commercial airplane with a pilot and facility must be contracted in order to support High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) and High Altitude High Opening (HAHO) Military Free Fall operations. Commercial plane will support sustainment training and instructor certification/development. A formal solicitation was not developed but the informal Request for Quote (M30903-17-SU-VV018) will be provided upon request. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 3:00 PM EDT, 15 May 2017, via email. POC is Sgt Sheldon Ellington, email: sheldon.ellington@usmc.mil.
