- Department of Veteran Affairs VISN 15 VAMC This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposal / quote and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to determine acquisition strategy and to gain knowledge of potential qualified vendors. Type of business, (e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, SDB or Large) Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform the work described below: This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase a telephone liaison care management system for the VISN 15 Hospital Network. DSS TeleCare Record Manager is a telephone liaison care management system that provides users with the ability to access telephone treatment protocols and update and organize information from different categories of patient calls. TeleCare Record Manager is Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture/Computerized Patient Record System (VistA/CPRS) integrated and automatically creates Text Integration Utilities (TIU) note in CPRS. TeleCare Record Manager allows users to manage workload reporting, access patient information directly from VistA packages, access multiple VistA systems in network and access call history reporting for Completed, Pending, and Open Calls. TeleCare Record Manager is Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant. TRM Plus integrates seamlessly with VistA and DSHI Veterans Health Gateway (VHG), which enhances telephone triage decision-making by helping nurses accurately assess patient symptoms and quickly determine the proper course of action for treatment.
