- Generic Item Description for Office Furniture This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ). A RFQ is not being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a RFQ. If issued, the RFQ will be issued subject to the availability of funds. The 764th Specialized Contracting Squadron intends to solicit, in accordance with (IAW) the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), a purchase order for office furniture IAW the attached generic item description. Removal of the existing furniture is also part of the requirement. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit sales brochures either electronically or in hard copy to the listed Government POCs and are mandated to conduct a site visit to submit a quotation after issuance of the RFQ.
