- The purpose of this announcement is to invite interested parties to the Federal Executive Board's San Francisco Acquisition lnteragency Council (SF-AIC) Industry Day. This Industry Day will facilitate open dialogue between various Federal Government agencies, Industry Partners, and prospective businesses interested in government acquisitions. The Industry Day will be held June 21, 2017 at Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building and Courthouse, located at 1301 Clay Street, Oakland CA. It is recommended that participants arrive no later than 7:15 AM to check in. The meeting is planned to begin at 8:30AM and we anticipate finishing by 2:00PM. Objectives: Government Objectives: •Encourage competition •To ensure synergy between Federal Agencies and Industry representatives through open discussions. Industry Objectives: •Gain better understanding of Federal Agencies' program mission drivers, program success as viewed by the customer and/or end user, technical requirements, acquisition strategies •Meet and Greet with Federal Agencies AGENDA 7:15 am - Sign In begins 8:30 am - Welcoming Comments 8:45 am - 9:45 am - Government Panel 9:45 am - 10:00 am - Break 10:00 am - 11:00 am - Training "How to Navigate the U.S. Government Spend" 11:00 am - 2:00 pm Opportunity to meet and greet with Agency Representatives from - Small Business Administration - GSA Federal Acquisition Service - GSA Public Buildings Service - Environmental Protection Agency - U.S. Forest Service - Veterans Administration - NASA Ames - U.S. Department of Agriculture - U.S. Corps of Engineers - U.S. Food and Drug Administration Who should attend: Businesses interested in Federal contracting and subcontracting opportunities. There is no cost to attend this event, however space is limited. Advanced registration is required and no walk ins will be permitted. Registration closes on June 5, 2017 however, registration may close early if maximum capacity for the event has been reached. Attendance is on a first come, first served basis and submitting this registration form does not guarantee your attendance. Registration is limited to two (2) attendees per company.
