RFP GS05P17SAD0007 for Elevator Maintenance Services at 4 locations in Michigan GS05P17SAD0007 SYNOPSIS The purpose of this acquisition is to procure Elevator Maintenance and Related Services at Location 1: Gerald R. Ford Federal Building, 110 Michigan Street, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Location 2: Federal Building, US Post Office and Courthouse, 410 West Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, Michigan; Location 3: Charles Chamberlain Federal Building, 315 W. Allegan St., Lansing, Michigan; and Location 4: Federal Building, 600 Church Street, Flint, Michigan. The contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance services to ensure the safety of the building's elevator operations and maintain the building's assets. The contractor will be responsible for all services, repairs, inspections and testing necessary to maintain all elevators, appurtenances and accessories in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime including all labor, parts, and materials. The performance period for this requirement is a one-year base period with four one-year options. The estimated start date is September 1, 2017. This procurement is unrestricted and open to all business concerns. The NAICS code is 238290, PSC is J039, with a size standard of $15 million. This is a negotiated best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on price and non-price factors. A pre-proposal conference will be scheduled and the date and details will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about April 17, 2017; the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (fedbizopps.gov) website. All interested vendors must be registered with this website in order to download the solicitation and amendments. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FBO for amendments and/or additional information. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), located at www.sam.gov, in order to be considered for award. See the solicitation for more information. Elevator Maintenance services for location 1 (Grand Rapids) and location 2 (Kalamazoo) are currently being performed by Kone Inc., Moline, IL. Current monthly price is $3,728.77 for both locations. Elevator Maintenance services for location 3 (Lansing) and location 4 (Flint) are currently being performed by Schindler Elevator Corporation, Morristown, NJ. Current monthly price is $1,326 for both locations. Because these specifications are performance based, it is the responsibility of the offeror to review the entire solicitation and base their proposal on this forthcoming solicitation. Ronald P.
