THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210. The Madison VA Medical Center has a need for brand name only Ascom Telligence Nurse Call System. The communication system for patient care purposes, notification to switchboard and main facility in the event of a medical emergency. The system will be located in rooms for staff on the unit to improve workflow and patient care. The system will notify the nurse station for patient need requests. Specifications/salient characteristics: Call functions as listed below will include buttons programmed for a code blue, emergency, staff assist and a cancellation button. Equipment required: 2 head-end power gateways 1 head-end data switch 1 nurse station console / master station 6 staff stations with intercom audio and call functions for procedure rooms. 5 pull for help toilet stations 16 call-cord patient station with call-cord and call functions for patient rooms 27 corridor lights 1 surge protected power strip 1 low profile wall-mount equipment rack The code blue function will need to communicate with the existing Ascom call system. CAT 6 cabling requirement Electrical data: 120V All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, INCLUDING ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: Company name. Address. Indication of which business category (SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business or Large Business) for which the organization qualifies. Are you providing a small business product? Reference the product, facility and sources sought number on all correspondence regarding this announcement. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238210 and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday, May 12, 2017.
